What Payment Methods Does Droneer Accept?

Droneer accepts the following payment methods:

  • PayPal

  • Debit & Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)

  • Klarna

Note: You can complete your order using your debit or credit card via PayPal Guest Checkout – no PayPal account is required.

About Payment Failure

Below are common payment error codes and their solutions.

1. Credit Card Payment Failed – Code 80010: Transaction Do Not Honor

Cause:
The card-issuing bank considers the transaction risky (e.g., overseas spending, security settings, or online purchase limits set by the cardholder).

Solution:
Contact your bank to confirm the transaction, adjust security settings, or increase your online purchase limit.

2. Credit Card Payment Failed – Code 80090: Cannot Start 3D Authorized Service

Cause:
3D Secure verification is not enabled on your card.

Solution:

  • Contact your bank to enable 3D Secure or check why verification failed.

  • Try the payment again, or use a different card.

3. Credit Card Payment Failed – Code 20061: Duplicate Order

Cause:
The customer did not complete the 3D Secure verification (e.g., exited or refreshed the page) and then attempted to pay again.

Solution:
Follow the on-screen prompts during 3D Secure verification. Do not refresh the page or close the browser window.

4. PayPal Payment Failed – PayPal Credit Not Supported

Cause:
PayPal Credit is not accepted.

Solution:
Please use your PayPal balance, or pay with a debit/credit card linked to your PayPal account.

Exchange Rate Conversion

  • All purchases on the Droneer official website are settled in U.S. Dollars (USD).

  • Prices shown in other currencies (e.g., Euros, British Pounds) are converted using the daily exchange rate for reference only.

  • If you pay with a non-USD credit card, your card issuer may apply additional currency conversion fees or exchange rate losses. These extra costs are not charged by Droneer. Please contact your bank for details or to dispute such fees.

Payment Security

  • No card information is stored at shop.droneer.com. Your card details remain the private property of the cardholder at all times – before, during, and after purchase.

  • All transactions are processed through PayPal, a highly secure, heavily encrypted third‑party payment processor used by millions of people daily.

  • Through PayPal, we accept all major cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) as well as debit cards. You do not need a PayPal account to use their payment service.

  • In addition, your checkout experience is protected by industry‑standard 128‑bit SSL encryption to safeguard your personal data.

  • Droneer does not keep credit card information on record.
